Scholarship and Publications

My scholarship involves the study of theatre history through the lens of practice research. I utilize ensemble performance to (re)create historical texts to examine embodied and affective knowledge.

My current research interests include:

  • Mikhail Kuzmin as playwright and theatre theorist

  • Pockets and niches of non-canonized queer theatre

  • Physical and affective approaches to acting

  • Modernism and queerness in performance and playwrighting

  • Metamodernistic theory
